Players will learn leadership by example from their coaches and adult volunteers. To practice leadership, players will be assigned contained leadership duties on a rotating basis, being asked to be in charge of tasks such as counting players, making sure all players complete a drill, selecting another player for a position, collecting or arranging equipment, or demonstrating to others how a task should be performed.
Our core values of leadership are as follows. Leadership should be demonstrated by example. Each individual should be ethical, helpful, and polite at all times. Leaders support the entire team. Leaders are not stars to be admired; leaders are individuals who share what they know and encourage others to grow.
Leaders are modest and friendly. Leaders should not boast about their skills or their team's superiority over another team. While good natured rivalry is fine, we never encourage bad mouthing, bullying, or teasing other players or other teams. Our coaches are paid for their time through your participation fees, but to keep prices low we rely on the generous support of unpaid volunteers.

Equipment Manager 2 The equipment manager keeps track of balls, nets, pads, water container, spare water bottles, food table, and other equipment assigned to each team.
Duties include making sure that all equipment stays in good repair and is transported to and from each game, and is securely stored between games. We prefer to have at least two Equipment Managers for each season so that they can work together or when one must be absent, the other can take over the responsibilities.
The Snack Coordinator makes sure that several Snack Providers are scheduled to provide snacks for all players on the team for each game. Snack Coordinators also ensure that a variety of snacks is available for each team, and organize our food table. We prefer to have at least two Snack Coordinators for each season so that they can collaborate or switch off as needed.
Snack Providers buy sufficient snacks for all players on the team and help the Snack Coordinator set up our food table. We can always use as many volunteer Snack Providers as we can get so that the burden does not always fall on only a handful of individuals. However, there are always minor cuts, bruises, and blisters to attend to, and the First Aid Assistant is responsible for dispensing and applying Band Aids and cold packs and attending to other minor medical needs.
Both teams, the parents, and coaching staff normally pitch in to make this happen, but we need assigned Clean up Managers to ensure that we leave the area in pristine condition. Volunteers must be available for most scheduled soccer games and must have their own transportation. Background checks are performed by the local county sheriff's department. To undergo a background check, an individual must report to the sheriff's department and fill out a standard form, providing name and address information and supplying photo identification as well as fingerprints. This is normally a quick and easy process.
Background checks will be paid for by the soccer league. A staff member will contact the sheriff's department to provide names of prospective volunteers to check.
Background checks will be processed by the state highway patrol, which will compare data and fingerprints against nationwide criminal databases. Details returned will be kept confidential by staff members except as required by law , and only those individuals that receive a Pass will be accepted as volunteers. Each individual undergoing a background check has the right to receive the results of that check and to correct any errors on their record. I have been using proposal pack for several years.
