I am running Windows XP. When I tap F8 I obtain the screen with the 3 options of safe mode safe mode with networking safe mode with command prompt I have tried all 3 options but once I select any option the pc restarts rather than opening in safe mode. But the thing is each and every Antivirus software program will have different virus database definitions. Our engineers have been striving round the clock to find out new virus databases to be added in the future updates. So I request you to keep updating the program regularly. AVG might not detect one of more viruses which the other programs can clean. But the other programs may not clean some viruses which AVG could clean so easily.
